Explained
Our journey started in 2023, when a group of engineers working across different high-frequency trading firms realized they all faced the same problem. Developer tools for working with data-heavy applications weren't very good, to say it politely.
We looked around and saw the same problem everywhere. Engineering teams handling large, fast-moving datasets were relying on components that were simply too slow, too rigid, and too painful to customize. Developers needed tools that were faster, more convenient, and, quite frankly, easier to ship to production.
Instead, teams were forced to resort to workarounds, trade-offs, and convoluted custom solutions that were expensive to build and even harder to maintain. In the best cases, those solutions were only partially successful, and at worst, they were very expensive and difficult to maintain.
Developers deserved something faster, cleaner, and easier to work with, so that's what we set out to build. Components meticulously designed to handle real-world data complexity and scale without making the developer experience miserable.
